JULIAN SANDS AT EnergaCAMERIMAGE WITH “KEATS, SHELLEY, GHOSTS AND LOVERS” ONE-MAN SHOW
Julian Sands
Actor Julian Sands (A Room with a View, Leaving Las Vegas, Ocean’s 13, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), will come to EnergaCAMERIMAGE Festival to introduce his program Keats, Shelley, Ghosts and Lovers. During the one-man show Sands directs himself he will present poems by John Keats and Percy Bysshe Shelley. The show will take place in the Tumult Foundation's building (Rynek Nowomiejski 28 street) on Sunday, November 14th, at 4pm, as well as the next day, Monday, November 15th, at 4:30pm.
Curiously, Julian Sands already had the opportunity to play Percy Bysshe Shelley in Ken Russell's Gothic. Needless to say, his Toruń show will be a treat to all enthusiasts of British literature. Additionally, because 2021 is the year of Cyprian Kamil Norwid, the initiative of Marek Żydowicz, director of EnergaCAMERIMAGE Festival, will make it possible to compare Keats's and Shelley's works with poems of one of the most eminent poets of Polish Romanticism.
European Film Center CAMERIMAGE and Tumult Foundation invite you to a memorable event, co-organized by the staff of the Institute of Literary Studies of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. You will also have a chance to talk to Julian Sands during a November 15th meeting that will take place in CKK Jordanki's Seminar Room at 8:30pm.
You can't miss this event.
